What is the dream?

In 10 years time, we imagine:

• nursing events that the corporate sector will compete to support
• we will see hundreds of nurses link up with Australian charities and overseas aid organizations
• we will see nursing initiatives that will enhance the hospital environment
• we will see the development of extensive nurse support, mentor and shared practice networks
• we will see nurses exhibit their art and start businesses
• we will see dedicated “Walls of Fame” in hospitals around the country, featuring ‘our beloved nurses’, celebrating their lives and all they give to their community
• we will see personalised welcome packs on patient's beds
• we will see a new kind of leadership in the nursing fraternity
• we will see healthy intra and inter-hospital competition to excel
• we will see Australia's socialites attending annual fund-raising dinners that will raise hundreds of thousand of dollars for nurse endeavours across the country
• we will attract financial support from philanthropic Australia to facilitate the fulfilment of our dreams
• we will see financially support The Australian Royal Flying Doctors Service
• we will love whatever it is that we do!!
